Delicious food, great service! Can't go wrong!

Kinda bland. Green bean casserole was tasteless, like plastic hospital food. Salad was okay. But Caesar salad lettuce was a little brown. Fried chicken breast was juicy but the breading had no flavor. I wasn’t impressed. I probably won’t go back. I’m too afraid it’ll be the same bland food. It’s a shame cause I live in TR. We need good restaurants in our little town.

OMG, shrimp and grits egg rolls are ridonkulous! Chicken and waffles and everything else is good too!

This place has a great Sunday brunch. You get a lot of food for a more than reasonable price. Travelers Rest has come a long way and there’s plenty to do. Pizzas are really good and they usually have a pretty good beer selection. Service has always been great at the bar. Give the fried pork rinds a try while you’re there.

Best chicken wings I've, nice size they weren't anorexic wings like a majority of places serve. Service was excellent

The service was awesome our waitress was expectacular but the food was terrible no flavors on the $18 salmon we ordered or the burger better cooks and this place would of rocked the wings were good tho thats it

Great burger, perfect margarita and great service. And for the gluten free, they have a gluten free bun. Friendly atmosphere

Stopped in late one night in way back home. Had shrimp and grits and crab cakes. Both were delicious. If you like pimento and cheese then you need to try the fried green tomatoes.

Great service, awesome food, a few craft beers, small selection. Dogs welcome on covered patio with ceiling fans. Water bowl brought to pooch on request. A definite come back to!!

WOW! our family went this afternoon first time for me. It was fantastic! The staff could not have been better. Ask for Natalie, she was amazing. Didn’t have to ask for a thing, she had it there! We were in a party of 16. Didn’t have to wait longer for service OR food. Atmosphere is cozy,, clean. I had to have some gluten free options and it was a breeze. I WILL go back! We had a variety of foods, salmon, caprese salads, burgers, several appetizers, linguini. Great variety of food!

Love this little out of the way treasure- the brunch there is over the top good and great prices. Not to mention sweet price points and great service. The menu has something for everyone and bottomless mimosas

Staff is great. Food is above average (I recommend the fish and chips). Battling flies while I eat really killed the experience for me. I noticed the trash cans littered with flies next to the door of their kitchen.

My favorite restaurant ever! Delicious food for very reasonable prices. Great staff and laid back atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. This is my go to place, I highly recommend.

Food is great, love the outdoor seating. But don't come here on your lunch break. Server can be slow.

The fish tacos are awesome. They are my go to. Sweet and spicy. This is one of my mother in laws favorite places to go to when she comes to town. Always good food and good service.

We had dinner tonight. Had a burger and pizza. Both were very good.

The chilli was the very tasty.

New favorite restaurant!! Whatever you do, don't get the sweet potato chips unless you're better than me pacing yourself. It was FANTASTIC. Serving sizes were large, atmosphere was great, and the staff were really friendly and prompt.

Great atmosphere. George was an excellent server! Fried green tomatoes were average, not spectacular. The salad was very good, fresh with good dressings. Ribeye was was flavorful. Excellent shrimp and grits. Highly recommend them! Complete a great meal with a great dessert, carrot cake and the Nutty Irishman. 👍🏼♥️

We drive an hour from home for our dentist in Travelers Rest, SC. After our visit today, he recommended Shortfields as the "best food" in Travelers Rest. He was right, we had a great burger and fish tacos (the real deal). It was fantastic and we'll definitely be back!

Love food, trout is my favorite. Service has not been to great last couple of times we have been. Tonight we left after sitting for 10 to 15 minutes with out being approached. Several wait staff walked by us..(not even a hello or some type of greeting, no water, no eye contact) so we left and took our business else where. I can understand if they were busy but they had several tables open and 5 different wait staff passed our table several times. Going to take a break from going there, hopefully things will improve because the food is good.

The food here was good, but the service was absolutely pitiful. In their defense, we had a party of 6, one of our party was late arriving, and we were the only people outside, but I think it took over an hour for us to be able to place our order. We had to ask 3-4 times for drink refills, and every time the waitress left, it would be 15-30 minutes before we would see her again; without the water, beer, or cocktails we had requested. None of the meats were the temperatures requested (medium rare came out well-done). The restaurant automatically applies a 20% gratuity on parties of six or more, and the waitress seemed to think that she was getting that regardless of what kind of service she provided.

The staff have swag! And the hometown food, is all made from scratch! Great prices for high class!

We asked for a table outside as it was a beautiful day. We were seated on the patio. Our waiter was very attentive. We got 2 different burgers and the steak Benedict. All were delicious. The atmosphere was fun.

solid 4 stars. the staff was super friendly and they have a wide-ranging menu. it is super casual, and the salads and fettuccine Alfredo were very good. the dessert was definitely not homemade, but overall this is a great little restaurant for the TR area.

Highly recommend this hometown restaurant!! Soup of the day $6, 1/2 Sandwich with soup $8.50, Burger $11, Pork Chops, Prime rib Tues nites, half off wine Weds, private dining room, outdoor seating, 7 televisions for sporting events, great date night place, happy hour. Closes at 9p. Also a location in Simpsonville. Wine, 11 beers on tap and cocktails. Fun place!!

Wow. What a great time. Service was aweso e and the wings were really good. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the Clemson Carolina game. They brought free jello shots around during the game. They had TVs covering all angles.

Facility in need of repairs, was great when they first opened.

Excelent food and our server was very nice and welcoming. Will eat there again if we ever visit from Florida again. They also catered for my nice's wedding. Awsome
